Only Good Lies Before You

When I was young I would always wonder why I would get tired just being around my mother and her friends- when they came to lunch at our house.  I was not even listening to what they were saying. However, there was one friend in particular, who was a sweet lady- I would very much get drained if she was around.

In retrospect, thinking about this one friend of my mothers, she had a lot to complain about. A lot that she shared with her friends was a very long list of stressful things.  Talking to friends is sometimes about sharing our hardships. However, her hardships carried over to gossiping.  She would talk about others in her family and her community and even people she did not know well—-and make judgments about them in negative ways.

Probably the worst thing you can do for yourself and your energy…..and for those around you - is gossip.  Any kind of negative talk about someone else.

For empaths, some of us do not only feel for the person who is speaking- we also feel for those who have been or are being judged.

Even if you are not an empath but you feel empathy easily for others because you have a big heart, it can be draining.

There are several tools to not take on others' energy. Or allow them to drain yours.

One tool is to say in your head repeatedly- “this is not my stuff”

Another tool is to do the Hoooooe sound- like Santa Ho Ho Ho…but descending tone while you bring your hand from your chin down to your pelvic bone- saying it silently on your exhaled breath.

The main thing is to have a White Protective Light (WPL), consciously up. And remember that Only Good Lies Before You.  Everything is always for our highest good—-however, I appreciate my energy and like to have a lot of it—-and choose not to allow it to be drained.

When working with clients- I will write their names on yellow paper with a wooden pencil and put a white candle,(in a holder) and light the candle. With the intention that I am giving it up to God or Source—- I am not going to worry about them after that moment until I see them again - or work on their files.

With Family, it can be very challenging. Reminding ourselves that nothing is personal ever—-is important. And to see them from their personal capacity of emotional restraint and spiritual development or lack of it.

When we can accept everyone for where they are at any given time- we can expect the same. And vice versa.

Please remember that you can say only two things about a person.  A blessing or a curse.  Please only bless others, because Karma is a bitch.
