Steeped In Style - Fashion Review - March 20th Show
One of the things I am a huge fan of is books! So when I found out that the “Steeped In Style” Marilyn Riseman’s Luncheon Fashion show series would be held at the Courtyard Restaurant at the Boston Public Library, I was beyond excited! The fact that it was an afternoon tea put me over the edge!
I walked into the BPL and inhaled that distinct scent of books! It smells like
I took my seat at a table next to two lovely ladies from the School of Fashion Design, Dr. Denise Hammon, President, and Jennifer Leclerc, Director of Development & Alumni Relations. We chatted about my experience in being an adult learner studying fashion at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design!
Other notable folks in attendance Miss Boston 2018, Madison Cota who delicately put on her crown and lit up the room with her luminous smile! Gustavo Viloria, Managing Editor for Creative Print and Web at the Boston Herald was in attendance with his partner Patrick Dwyer aka “P Diddy Southie”. Both were looking flawless in their outfits! Jay Calderin, Director of Creative Marketing & Special Projects at the School of Fashion Design arrived to check out the show and to celebrate his birthday!
We then proceeded to order our tea and lunch! I had the Ras Chai Latte! A slightly malty blended tea with cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves! VERY TASTY.
