Save Our Children Stop Sales of Assault Weapons NOW
Save Our Children Stop Sales of Assualt Weapons Now
It's President's Day. Call your congressperson and make your voice heard. Put them on notice that they will not get your vote in the next election if a bill to ban assault weapons is not on the table before the mid-terms. Don't let them fool you, they can get it done when they want something pushed through, this better be one of them. Today call once, call three times, call once an hour every hour and jam up their phone lines. Click through on the links and send emails in the same manner. Let Congress know, they work for us, we don't work for them. We are mad as hell, and we are not taking it anymore. Send a message today, that we are not letting this go.
We must be persistent, work together and stand strong to get this accomplished. It may be a struggle but we cannot let it go. This is too great a cause that has lasted too long. And nothing ever moves on it. Take a look at history, the civil rights act didn't come easy, many were arrested, died, or were badly beaten. Woman's right to vote, why do you think they called them "suffragettes"? No one is taking away your right to bear arms to hunt or protect your home and family. But you don't need an AR-15 or bump stock to do either. And you know that, let it go. These weapons should not be for sale! If they weren't a mentally disturbed teenager wouldn't have been able to legally by one. Yes, he might find something else, but not a weapon that takes the lives of 17 students and teachers, and wounded so many others physically and mentally, as well as there families. We must stand together, push and protest until we get this amendment done. No more mass shootings in schools or anywhere else. Please, make the calls, send the emails. Share this with your friends, relatives, co-workers and those you do business with wherever you are. This is a national issue, stay tuned here for next steps in our struggle. Please let me know what's going on in your community, post in comments.
The struggle continues.
