5 Steps for A Successful 2018

author/source: Kate Beeders

I remember how crowded my gym always gets in January.  The parking lot is full, the locker room is full, and the classes are full.  I used to get annoyed and then I realized that most of these extra people would disappear within six weeks.  They are what I call the “New Year’s Resolution People.”  Here today and gone tomorrow.

I’m not a fan of New Year’s Resolutions.  The reason is that most people fail at them.  Think about it.  How many times have you said this is going to be the year that I lose the weight…make more money…get a new job…find an ideal partner?  How many times has that come true for you?  (Hey, it’s just between you and me, and I’ll bet not that often).

So, let’s set you up to succeed in success in 2018.

If you follow my 5-step revolutionary Money Acceleration System™ you will be on your way.

#1:  You are currently in your “Comfort Zone,” and it’s time for you to get out.  You’ve probably stayed in your comfort Zone too long because it’s familiar and something different is scary.  The truth is that growth only happens when you’re willing to take that step outside.

#2.  These three important things happen in the “Money Zone”.  The first is or you to start getting clarity on what you want to create.  Can you visualize it?  The second is to have that burning desire that this goal must happen- otherwise, on those cold, rainy days, you’ll never get out of bed.   Lastly, you start to learn to believe in yourself.  If you don’t have faith and trust you can do it - nobody else will!

#3.  Now, it’s time for you to get into gear in the “Action Zone”.  You can sit around and wish and hope and pray, but if you don’t take action, you’ll never get there.  It’s important to remember that it isn’t just about getting into any action - more so the right activity at the right time.  You’re too busy to spend your time on the wrong things.

#4. Things start getting interesting when you’re in the “FreakOut Zone”.  This is when your fears, doubts, beliefs and old stories start popping up about who you are and what you can accomplish.  This is when you’ll procrastinate, get “Bright Shiny Object Syndrome,” and often stop moving forward.  The key here is to know that your growth happens when you are willing to get the help to move through this time and end up on the other side.

A great example is when a client of mine was all set to charge more money based on a new program she had created.  The first time she received a "no" that sent her into a tizzy.  She thought to herself:” See, I should never have done this” and she was all set to run back to her Comfort Zone. Fortunately, for her, I was able to see what was going on and help her gain her confidence back on what she was doing.

#5:  Congratulations!  You made it to your “Zone of Brilliance” where all of the cool stuff happens.  Great opportunities, connections, abundance and more for you.

An interesting thing about life is that once we get to a new level, we often want to move up again.  That’s how things work.   That’s the journey of life.  You will “rinse and repeat” what I taught you.
